A natural gas engine reduces fuel costs.

With the Caddy EcoFuel and the Caddy Maxi EcoFuel you can lower your fuel costs as both models primarily use natural gas which is more favourably priced than petrol or diesel. The innovative 80 kW* (109 bhp) 2.0 l EcoFuel engine has such efficient combustion that it complies with the Euro 5 exhaust emission standard and is therefore in the more favourable vehicle tax category for petrol engines.

The Caddy Maxi EcoFuel has a range of up to 700 km.

No savings have been made, however, in one particular area. The volume of the load compartment is as large as ever as the robust steel natural gas tanks are fitted safely and in a space-saving way underneath the vehicle. The range of the Caddy EcoFuel models is on a par with conventional petrol engines: the Caddy EcoFuel, with tanks carrying 26 kg of natural gas plus a 13 litre reserve supply of petrol, cover up to around 570 km. The Caddy Maxi EcoFuel – its tanks hold 37 kg of natural gas and likewise 13 l of petrol as a reserve – can even achieve a range of up to 700 km.
