World Grand Prix Darts players wheel up to the oche

Two of the world’s leading darts players were welcomed to Dublin by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles ahead of their bid to win the World Grand Prix title.Six-time major title winner and reigning champion, James Wade and former World Champion, Mark Webster, will battle it out at the oche while their transportations needs are met by the van specialists. The World Grand Prix, held at the Citywest Convention Centre, attracts over 25,000 darts fans over the seven day event.As Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brand ambassadors’ James and Mark will be using a Caravelle van for transport to the venue and sightseeing during the tournament. Speaking of event, James Wade, said: “As the defending champion I am obviously wanting to retain my title. The Volkswagen van will be a great asset to Mark and myself helping us to get to the event as well as giving us the chance to explore the local sights.”Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles sales and marketing manager, Niall Phillips, said “As we have launched the brands ‘Let’s go to Work’ strapline we felt it was fitting to ensure Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles brand ambassadors had a reliable vehicle to get to work. We are delighted to be supporting James and Mark and wish them the greatest success.”
