To guarantee its success, the new Transporter has improved in almost all areas as compared with its predecessor: experience a higher level of luxury in the cab and a load compartment that is 61 mm longer and comes as standard - and if that’s not enough, the optional long-wheelbase model boasts a load compartment that is, for the first time ever, over 3 m long. You also benefit from significantly more width, with an additional 148 mm between the wheel housings. The larger dimensions are an absolute benefit for the interior, which not only offers you more space for your cargo, but also an even more pleasant driving experience as you go about your daily business.

All of this growth means a considerably larger load volume - but the new Transporter has also raised the bar in terms of payload and towing capacity.

From up to 5.8 m³ in the version with the normal wheelbase and normal roof to a maximum of 9 m³ in the high-roof version with long wheelbase, the new Transporter offers more storage space than ever before.

While the payload has increased from 1.2 to up to 1.33 tonnes, the maximum dynamic roof load has increased from 150 to 170 kg. Last but not least, towing capacity has increased from 2.5 to an impressive 2.8 tonnes. Thanks to the increased load capacity, you can not only transport more, but also be more flexible in your activities, regardless of the sector you work in.
